Ryan Olson
Owner and Guide

I have lived in the city of Napa for almost 30 years and has been doing wine tours in Napa and Sonoma wine country for over 20 years. When I first started doing wine tours with my former employer, they had two vehicles and less than 100 wineries to visit in Napa. 15 years later, the fleet grew to almost 100 vehicles and the number of wineries has risen to over 400 just in the Napa Valley. It was time to share my knowledge of what the perfect escape in wine country should look like on my own. Using my personal connections and own experiences, I am able to create customized experiences. I understand that every visitor has their own tastes and preferences, whether it’s their first time or if guests are seasoned visitors looking for the latest amazing experience. I’ve cultivated relationships with clients throughout the years and in many cases, I’ve helped the same clients find the next hidden gem for over 10 years!
Born in Spokane, Washington, my family moved all around the west coast, moving to five different areas around northern and southern California before the family settled in Ojai, California for high school.
Not a bad place to grow up and embrace the tennis community. After a few more years living in San Luis Obispo and San Rafael, I ended up in Napa. When first arriving in Napa, the downtown area was not what guests see today. My wife, Shannon, and I walk frequently walk downtown and still chuckle to ourselves as we take in the glamorous storefronts and hotels that we remember as army surplus stores and abandoned buildings.
Watching the growth of Napa Valley has given me an inside view as to what guests may not already know about. It would be my pleasure to share some of this with you, and help make you visit one to remember.
